Food Pantry News
HOURS 9-12 Monday & Thursday
The Dixfield Food Pantry was established to meet the temporary needs of the citizens of Dixfield and East Dixfield. Many people have taken advantage of our facilities and we anticipate an even greater need as heating fuel and home expenses remain high. Each month we serve more than thirty families.
We greatly appreciate generous gifts we received from churches, friends and individuals. Through the generous support of many, we are able to distribute fifteen boxes for Thanksgiving. THANK YOU!
We also have a limited supply of clothes and non-food items. Thanks to Carrie Puiia we now have cat and dog food avalibale, generously donated by local stores. In addition there is some inspiring literature available to our clients. And it's all FREE!
NEW! We want to develop a program for those seeking appliances and/or other non-food items and those who have such items they wish to dispose of. Bring a poster, a picture or a clearly written notice and we will post it for others to see. This info exchange will help us serve you better.
As we approach the holiday season there will be increased needs to be filled. How can you help? For fun and easy fund raising ideas write to us and will send you a suggestion sheet.
If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, please send your gift today to 434 Common Road, Dixfield, ME 04224 or bring it with you when you visit us to see the building the Lord has provided.
Thank you
We have long partnered with the Good Shepherd Food Bank to supply us with much of our food.
